OUALIDIA: Book
Referred to as St Tropez of Morocco, this relaxed little fishing village, hugging the edge of a gorgeous crescent shaped lagoon. Popular with families attracted by the safe, calm waters of the lagoon, which are perfect for sailing, fishing, windsurfing and surfing.
The bay is famous in food circles for it’s oyster beds, reason why it is the best spot to taste Moroccan Oysters. While north of the village, the coastal lagoons, creeks, and saltpans around Sidi Moussa Re excellent for bird spotting.
South of Oualidia, the coast road becomes ever-more dramatic, passing through green grazing lands which end at precipitous sea cliffs. Along this stretch there are a series of completely deserted sandy beaches of which Cap Beddouza, 33km from Oualidia, is one of the most scenic and another rich habitat for water birds.

Azemour & Eljadida
North of Oualidia located these 2 beautiful towns. Mazagan Eljadida was founded by the portuguese in the 16th century and known for its gigantic under sea level cisterns built under the fortress castle and served as a reservoir for water. This stunning Unesco World Heritage site has inspired number of film makers and where Orson Welles filmed Othello. The thin layer of water that covers the floor and the reflexion both of columns and roof offers a spectacular light to surprise every visitor.
Then visit this Portuguese 16 century built town composed of three sections: Old Medina, Kasbah and Mellah Jewish quarter. This beautiful town is believed to be the hometown for Estevanico: “Esteban the Moor” the first African to put foot in North America when he was enslaved first by the Portuguese and choose after to serve in an expedition of the continent and magically survived the dangerous Atlantic waves and later on the several native American attacks and slavery. Only with four other companions managed to reach safely a Spanish colonial town : Ô History!

We’ll practice yoga outdoors on our terrace with views out to sea , a luxury hotel, delicious Moroccan Sea food meal, boat trips to secluded beaches, pretty towns, spa treatments, and plenty of time to relax by the pool. No rules, no schedules!

The weather in May and October is sunny and warm enough to go for a swim on our private beach and spend the day outdoors, but not too hot so we can still practice yoga outside.
